InfoGuard is a Unisys product that is marketed both by Unisys and Locum. InfoGuard is security enhancement software for Unisys ClearPath MCP systems. The InfoGuard features can increase the level of system security and simplify the task of configuring a secure system.

Systems running standard software and using InfoGuard have been evaluated at the C2 level by the National Computer Security Center (NCSC).

InfoGuard provides the following features:

• System-enforced security-administrator status
• Password aging
• Password generation
• Simplified security administration
• Tape security
• Logging activities associated with a mix number
• Selective SUMLOG access
• Security station

The InfoGuard features listed above are also available as separately packaged security feature groups. A system with all these packages has the same security features as a system with InfoGuard. Each package may be separately licensed depending on an organisation's requirements. The following packages are available:

InfoGuard Security Password Management

This package includes all user attributes associated with maintaining password aging information. It also includes password generating capabilities and password change capabilities.

InfoGuard Security Accountability Facility

This package includes audit facilities, object reuse and access control, and tape security.

InfoGuard Security Monitoring Workstation

This package includes the capability of sending instantaneous notification of security violations and security-related events to a designated station.

InfoGuard Security Identification Facility

This package includes user history profile and security administrator privilege.
