SafeSurvey Client

The new version of SafeSurvey comes in two parts: the Host, which runs on MCP systems, and the Client, which runs on PCs. SafeSurvey Client provides a great new user-friendly means of scanning your systems and producing reports. The reports are dynamic, very easy to read, and allow you to produce graphs. 3.5 IR 2

The latest version of Safe & Secure was released on the 22nd of November 2007. Features include:

• AdminDesk: Tool tips have been added to property pages. Hovering the mouse over an input field in either the User or System Option property pages will result in a tool tip being displayed.
• RealTime Monitor users can now interrogate & change their own alert filters via the Menu option ‘Connection -> Filter…’. Note that changing the alert filter requires an MCP logon.
• The Address Pool implementation now encompasses Alert Interface connections.
• Two new relations, ‘Contains’ and ‘Does Not Contain’, are available in the Search function. For added flexibility, when searching string-type lists, these relations will inspect embedded strings within each item.
• A new Tools Menu function is added for easier maintenance of Safe & Secure output files. ‘Search for Locum Output’ requests and displays a list of files containing the string "LOCUMBD/" that reside on the family DL-ed as the backup family. In addition, individual files may be deleted or redirected to a server share, as required. The Delete File option is also available in ‘Userdatafile Control Functions’ of the System Menu, and is subject to standard MCP security rules.
• A new User Menu function is available for better management of Credentials Files. ‘Search Credentials’ implements searches for Credentials Files, and once found, allows them to be recreated, deleted or tested.
• Chain: FTP Server user deactivations are now subject to propagation to other hosts where the appropriate CHAIN options are set.
• Secure: The Destroy & Release archive actions have been added to the FileStatus Report.

AdminDesk v.3.5.492

Implements extra CFile commands along with the ability to conduct CFile searches. Also some minor fixes.

Censor v.3.5.1092

Recognises PCDIR as a MARC command so it can be delegated. Also a couple of minor fixes to do with confirmation of DS syntax.

SafeLib v.3.5.457

Supports the implementation of CFile searches. Also some minor fixes.
